Chelsea are looking to add value in the future rather than immediate use, with their latest target being Brazilian Serie A star Gabriel Mec of Gremio.

According to Globo Esporte, the Blues have prepared a deal worth a combined €24m (£20m) inclusive of transfer fees, bonuses and performance-related options for Gremio to consider in exchange for the 16-year-old gem to Stamford Bridge.
However, all of these are mutual agreements that will not be officially signed until the results are satisfactory and then the deal will be closed.
Gremio did not hold a grudge because they were able to negotiate in parallel with other clubs to sell the Brazilian attacking midfielder, with Chelsea’s offer being the main consideration for negotiation.
The earliest a player will be allow to work in England is April 2026, when he turns 18, so Chelsea will follow his development and will agree an official contract early next year.
Mec, who is an attacking midfielder, is yet to make an appearance in senior football.
But he has been highly-rate for a number of years, with Gremio wanting to add a £136.8m release clause to his contract.
However, they were unable to do so and the club were reportedly worry about losing him for free.
Mec plays as a number 10 or left forward and is still on the U -20 team of Gremio. He has played 11 matches ยูฟ่าเบท and scored two goals. He is a talented young man who is good with both feet.
